3. Axo

Lindrala thinks for a moment and then she speaks while looking at holo of the base. "There is more at stake here than one individuals honor and besides, Apple has already defeated powerful enemies in the past, Axo has already shown himself to be reliable and I trust that he can do this, he will control the turrets."

"The most logical choice." Axo nods at Lindrala.

Opegg did not like the idea but agreed with Lindrala: "And who will go with him?"

Lin thinks for a moment then glances at Oyo. "Oyo is strong and capable, he can defend Axo while he hacks the turrets."

Oyo was surprised that he was chosen for a side kick, he figured out that Lindrala learned so far that Oyo's place is in the heat of the battle. Not to run after tech personnel. But his facial reaction was concealed behind the mask of Temple Guardian. With silence, he simply walked over and took Axo's side.

Opegg nods at Lindrala: "Then it is decided. I will follow you with my men and support you against their ground forces." Opegg looks at Apple: "Tell them to start our drop ships, we are heading in." Apple runs out to inform other Mandalorians in the camp.

Smiling, Murriel unplugs her code cylinder sliding it back in the carrier on her wrist unit. “Well, seems like all ya’ll have this well in hand…I’ll just be findin’ my way back to the outpost and off this rock…if ya’ll don’ need me tha’ is…”

She wasn’t hurt in the least that she wasn’t chosen. ‘She’ wouldn’t have chosen herself to do that job, not only on the matter of trust, but for other reasons. This was a ‘big cheese’ they were going to rescue and Murriel had no delusions of grandeur or desire to be a hero, at least since the credits seemed to have evaporated.

Looking up, lost in random thought, she wondered how many dances she would have to do and how many poles she would have to spin on to get her club back, now that the mission went south. “Well…there’s always ‘other’ means to make currency…” She said outloud.

1. Hold inspiring speech.



Lindrala looks at Opegg and nods, she then turns and looks to each face in the room. "My friends, allies, I know many of you perhaps did not sign up for this, you likely feel insignificant now in scale to the threat we face this day, if you are feeling that right now then remember these words, every single one of us can make a difference." She pauses for a moment and looks at the Mandalorians. "You fight for honor and the survival of your people, here I stand fighting for the survival of my own, Mandalorians, Jedi, united against one common threat that seeks to control the galaxy, to murder our children and steal our homes." Lin glances to the wound of her missing hand. "Many of us, if not all of us here know about loss, the loss of a loved one, a family member, or even part of yourself, today we have the chance to say no more." Lindrala presses some buttons on the console and a holo image of Jadus appears in the room. "Here is your true enemy, Jadus, the defiler, the destroyer, one who seeks to bend all of us to his will, to nuild his emperor of fear and purge the galaxy, today we have the chance to end his terror and secure a future not just for ourselves but for everyone." Lindrala presses another button on the console and the image vanishes. She pulls her lightsaber into hand and makes her way round the console to stand among her comrades. "You all know the stakes, we cannot fail on this day, all of you, stand strong and stand together... May the force be with us all."

Benna knows she is here only for the credits, but the last few weeks with the Pax crew has, against her intentions, made her feel like a part of something again and has made her care for her fellow companions. Though unaware of this herself until Lindrala starts to speak to the group. A sensation of honour initially rushes over Benna, however, as Lindrala keeps going that feeling is soon replaced by a rather... different feeling as Benna feels a shiver up her back and a urge to shake it off with her head and unwillingly she feels her toes cringe. Though not all, there was alot to agree with jedi on, Benna's inner monologue embarrassingly reviews Lindrala's speech Ugh.. It's just the way... she says it.

Skye stood there silent with her arms folded resting against the wall at the back of the room, she listened to the speech of master Lindrala though she did not really care  for such things. She just seemed more eager to get on with the mission at hand.

Aya looks down in the floor, embraced by who is now her master, blushing, and wishing it was rather silence than speech. But she couldn't turn head away, Aya recognizes the effort of trying to keep spirit strong, positive and inspired in this crew. And even if Lindrala may fail in that, the intent is recognized and approved by Aya. But she kept it to herself, she did not want to be judged with eyes by others, for liking the message of the speech itself, no matter how good or bad was it presented.

After the speech is done, it was time for crew to set off for the mission. Five Mandalorian shuttles were ready to take them from the camp to Night Fortress courtyard on the top of mountain. In the first it was Lindrala and her team. In second it was Axo with Oyo and small mandalorian support. In third it was Opegg with his men. In the fourth there was more mandalorians to support, including Apple. And the last, fifth shuttle, there was more mandalorians.

Night Mother walks into a room with four coffins implanted into walls. She waves with her head and opens them with the Force: "The sleep time is over sisters. It is time to awake. Dathomir calls you to aid." Four witches come out of their coffins. They were very thin, as if they had slept for centuries, without food. The four witches spoke without opening their mouth, as a single mind, but in a choir: "Then the time has come. Our magics will turn the tide of this war to our favor. For a very long time it was growing in our slumber, as we have fed on the nightmares from this world's tribes." The Four witches now stood before the Mother. Grand Necro Witch, Grand Weather Witch, Grand Mind Witch and Grand Shadow Witch, each able to speak their mind on their own now. Grand Necro Witch steps forwards towards the entrance to their room and begins work with her hands: "Our fallen enemies and sisters will become our allies. The path to us will be clouded in dark mist conjured from the nightmare itself. The one we sought for centuries is here, existing in this time. Netherworld's hunger for her Force Signature will be satisfied, finally. And then She will walk among us once more." Grand Weather Witch looks up in the ceiling, listening to the war raging in the skies and the orbit of Dathomir, and begins her own chants: "And so many more to join our cause. I will summon the storm to devour our foes, so that their spirits can grant more strength to Dathomir, to our home." Grand Shadow Witch remains silent, unheard, simply looks into the eyes of the Mother, before she fades into nothing, until she becomes unseen as well. Grand Mind Witch steps towards the Mother nervous with all the thoughts she is reading, holding for her head as the war draws her insane: "You sent sister Agatha alone. Sister Agatha is in danger. She is coming to face Sister Agatha, why would you allow such a thing!?" Mother slaps the Grand Mind Witch, who steps back holding for her cheek, silenced by Mother's wraith and angered sight. The Mother looks at the Grand Mind Witch and scowls at her: "Focus. Everyone has to play the part if the ritual is going to success. Her Force Spirit will cause imbalance to the Netherworld. But she must be drained enough until she reaches me, so I can prepare her, and do it right. The Outlander ruined our opportunity, we were going to use Tenebrae spirit to bring her back, but Outlander destroyed it. You must trust my visions. We have Shan, we have Jadus, and we have Nightingale sisters now. Combined they will be able to replace Tenebrae's power essence, and our ritual will success. The Netherworld will be in total chaos, unstable with such concentration of the Force, the normal rules of the Force will no longer apply. It will allow me to tap into the unnatural ways of the Force to bring her back. And she will be able to bring everyone back that she desires. This is my only chance, I am the only Avatar of her left, and her last chance in this millennia. I will not fail because you cannot gather your thoughts and focus at the task at hand. Focus. Join the Grand Necro Sister. Your ability to tap into others minds will be of value to empower her Nightmare Mist. Or all what we have done will be for nothing." The Grand Mind Witch gathers herself after she carefuly listened to the Mother, and finally walks over to the Grand Necro Witch,  and begins to chant herself. The Mother spends few more moments looking at the awakened coven,  and then turns to join Jadus and Satele in the final area.

In the skies mandalorian's shuttles are flying towards the mountain. Pilot informs Lindrala that they are approaching the landing point. Agatha walks down the stairs from the entrance to the Fortress into the big courtyard and looks up in the skies, observing the arrival of her enemies. Turrets on the Fortress turn towards the shuttles and open fire. The pilots break formation of their flight to dodge the attacks. But fifth shuttle gets hit and explodes with screams of mandalorians inside. The explosion shakes Lindrala's shuttle for a bit as they were the closest to it. Opegg points forward to the Night Fortress through the window: "We must press forward.". The shuttles continue evasive maneuvers and all four remaining menage to land in the red zone without being hit. Once there, they were no longer mobile. Everyone left their shuttles and charged at imperial and witches forces on foot, but one of the turrets fires at the fourth landed shuttle killing few Apple's comrades, and sending Apple flying few meters away into the ground. A witch force jumps on top of the Apple, and rises her blade to kill him, but she was shot off dead by Opegg. The witch falls down and Opegg runs to Apple, grabbing him for his armor and lifting him back on his feet with one hand. "Kid, I cannot babysit you forever. Shoot at the blasted witches!." Apple nods, and reaches out for his pistol, shooting towards enemies with his trembling hand. Another turret turns towards Opegg and Apple, charging to fire. And then suddenly it gets shut down. It was Axo using Murriel's codes to hack the turrets with his CTI. He made it to his position and invaded imperial network, with Oyo at his side. Red signal beeps at Jadus' place as the Mother enters to join him. "Problems Jadus?" The Mother asks Jadus, unreleased with the beeping sound. Jadus looks at his personnel, one of them approaches Jadus to inform him of the status "Fortress' frontal defenses are being disabled My Lord. There is something outside emitting incorrect signals, causing errors to our turret responses. Someone hacked into our defenses." Jadus growls quietly before issuing an order: "Send the snipers. This individual must be eliminated." The person nods "Yes my Lord." and returns to the computers.




Pax Crew pushes forward as mandalorians and witches and imperials battle around them. But their progress was intercepted by Agatha. She arrived battle ready, holding a sickle. It's hilt has chain that goes around Agatha's body, warping around her legs, arms, torso and neck, moving slowly as if it was alive, but yet moved only by Agatha's will in the Force. Dark clouds slowly being to form in the sky as result of Grand Weather Witch chant. Everyone could notice that words will not serve any purpose. Agatha's eyes gave away her determination to destroy the Pax Crew. Her eyes being to glow purple. With Agatha standing in their way, Pax Crew cannot proceed to the Night Fortress.

Lindrala quickly ignites her saber, she moves closer to Aya to keep her padawan protected from the witch.

Benna grabs her blaster in hand and runs ahead.

Aspen moves behind the rest of the crew ready to help where needed and help the wounded. "call out if you need a hand.... or two, I have two... if you really need both" he shouts nervously.  

Move Action: E16 to I17

Murriel actually takes one step back, looking at her CTI scan readings. 'What tha Kriff is tha?!?!', her mind spins the question around as she instinctively draws her blaster, not aiming, but holding it at the ready. She's no 'quickdraw' artist or anything.

Move Action: G16 to G17

Skye does not waste any time, she glances at the enemy in the distance, she takes aim down sight and fires at Agatha.

Damage: 2+d20 Bolts Energy Critical: 15-20 (x3)

Seeing that Lindrala is close, Aya decides to go without lightsaber, so she can use both hands for force powers. She steps forward but not too far from Lindrala. She is trying to make good distance from everyone in the group so her healing powers can reach them all.

Move Action: M16 to N14

Skye hits Agatha first time in shoulder, she rotates around herself and steps forward, she gets shot by Skye again, pushing her one step back, when suddenly, Agatha with a single step dashes above the ground and in a moment finds herself in the crowd of Pax Crew. She releases her sickle and pulls for its chain, when she rotates in spot, stepping on her chain to reduce the range of her attack, so that it can be more powerful.

Lindrala protects all attacked allies, including herself, from all damage. She could also notice that her lightsaber did not damage Agatha's sickle, because it is a vibroweapon. Agatha finishes her dance attack,  and the chains wrap around her body again, forcing the hilt of her sickle to return to her hand. Agatha studies Lindrala with leaned head on a side. A sniper on the roof arrives taking position to shoot at Axo,
so that turrets can be operational again.
