JEDI CONSULAR


A Jedi Consular was the title of one of three distinct branches which a member of the Jedi Order could decide to study under following their ascension to the rank of Jedi Knight, the other two being Jedi Guardian and Jedi Sentinel. Led by the Council of Reconciliation, the Consulars sought diplomatic measures in spreading peace and harmony across the Galactic Republic. Refraining from drawing their lightsabers (many Consulars wielded green lightsabers) except as a measure of last resort, Consulars spent a great deal of time studying the mysteries of the Force.

What Jedi Guardians achieved through combat, Jedi Consulars achieved with words or non-violent use of the Force. Concentrating on mental refinement through study and meditation, Consulars sought to perfect the art of diplomacy and mediation, hoping to calm a tense situation or mend hurt feelings through civil discourse, reasoning, and parley, rather than drawing their lightsabers and cutting down an attacker. While Jedi Consulars would attempt to avoid conflict for as long as possible, the Consulars were sensible and carried a lightsaber, often with a green blade to symbolize their commitment to peace. Jedi Consulars were also able to focus their Force usage against their enemies, which made it harder for opponents to resist a Consular's Force powers.

FORCE FOCUS - At level 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, Jedi Consular gains Force Focus feats as a class free feature, even if he does not meet requirement. Force Focus allows Jedi Consular to call upon the Force in battle, and use it more efficiently than other classes.

Evolution C: All skills related to force powers gain +2 to rolls

Jedi Consular Evolution - At level 10, 20, 30, Jedi Consular is strong enough to evolve into a new stage. At those levels Jedi Consular can select one of the 3 evolution perks. In which order Jedi Consular is going to select them is up to the player, but can select only one at the time. You can have 1 evolution perk at level 10, 2 evolution perks at level 20, and 3 evolution perks at level 30. Jedi Consular loses all evolution perks if he does not have light side alignment.

Perk A: Jedi Consular masters the use of Light Side Force Powers. Jedi Consular gains +25% effect on all Force Powers that have light side alignment.

Perk B: Jedi Consular extends the range of all Force Powers by additional 5 meters.

Perk C: Jedi Consular increases number of targets affected by all Light Side Force powers by 3.
